Download. Looks like an interesting bulletin board product if you're thinking
of adding something to your own web site. Free.
Lefora looks rather
interesting. They'll create and host your bulletin board/forum for you. You can
custom it, they'll catch spam, you can moderate however you wish, nothing to
download - create newsletters, use widgets - looks very impressive.
QuickTopic: free
message board hosting (bulletin boards). Set up a page for yourself or your
website.
ProBoards.com - Free Remotely
Hosted Message Boards. This looks to be of interest if you want to run a
bulletin board but don't want to have to do it yourself.
Tangler Start a
discussion forum for your website or group and get everyone talking. Sleek,
hosted, easy to set-up and real time.
Meebo rooms. Meebo
is well known for offering funky little gadgets that allow you to chat via IM
without having to install anything. They've now gone to the next level and
created chat rooms that you can embed onto a page.

messenger application that allows you to stay connected with your favorite

is a web service you can use to create your own instant messenger. Setup a

ecards. These people make ecards that you can easily embed into a blog,
facebook, send blah blah blah. Lots of different ones, different categories,
and you customise them.
Tumblr. Sort of like a
very cut down weblog package.
Yaplet Beta!. This is
another of the chat box on webpage ideas. Very similar to Gabbly etc.
Voki. is a resource
whereby you create a character, add in some extras, record your voice (or type
text) and create your welcoming little creation that can then be cut and pasted
onto various sites.

Interest Groups. What are you interested in? Where do you live? Work out the
