I've recently updated my Web Search Engines and New Search Engines lists.

I'm often trying out new things on my webpages, and sometimes older resources have to make way for new ones. Rather than lose them entirely however, I've just added a new page - Webpage Widgets to showcase some of them. Just because they've been moved doesn't mean that they're not any good - just that I want to play around with new things!

My Presentations While you can still click on the link to the left to see them, I've started to use the excellent SlideShare site, and will increasingly be using that to host them. So if you're looking for a presentation post September 2006, it's probably going to be in my SlideShare Profile.

Spoof or fake sites. I'm often asked to recommend sites that are untruthful for use in educational programmes to help librarians and educators illustrate that you can't believe everything you read. I've now created two pages of examples, over 50 in all. These cover scientific and commercial sites and historical, social, religious, political and so on.

Which search engine when? This is still my most popular article. Take a look if you are having trouble finding the right search engine to use. This is continually being updated.
