Simple search
  • Add “double quotes” to search for a phrase, rather than separate words
  • Use – to exclude a word from your search (NOT operator)
  • To include stop words, enclose them in a quote and use + :
    • “+to +be +or +not +to +be”

  • To search for synonyms, use the tilde character:
    • ~tutorial
      • Gives results for tutorial, guide, learn, teach etc
  • Proximity search use the * character
    • George*Bush
      • GeorgeWBush, George Bush, George W Bush
