An item I noticed when I logged into my gmail account this morning: Google Mail in the UK. Because of an ongoing dispute regarding the Gmail trademark in the UK, which has now gone to court, UK users of the system will now have @googlemail.com addresses. The good news is that the service remains the same. The bad news is that Google can't promise this. They don't know if the address will always stay the same. Slightly unsettling.
