I'm not usually much into online music; I've never gotten into the whole mp3 thing, but I've recently discovered Last.FM and I have to say I think it's very nifty indeed. You can sign up for free, tell it what your favourite music is and create your own personal radio station. I've been listening for the last 4 hours and liked every song! It's very clever and worth trying out if you're into the whole online music thing.
