I'm back from the Internet Librarian 2003 conference, held at the NEC. I was there on the Monday to take part in the WebSearch Academy with Mary Ellen Bates, Ran Hock, and Gary Price. The day was run by Marydee Ojala, Editor of ONLINE. A very enjoyable and interesting time was had by all.

On the Tuesday I did a presentation on evaluating the results of searches, which was fun to do. I had to get back to London, so I wasn't able to spend any longer at the conference - perhaps next year!

Nice little article here on how to write your web pages so that they are more user friendly for search engines. It doesn't really say anything that the readers of my own site won't know, but it's neatly put together and worth a quick looksee.
