I've just started to use the Google Alert function. Google has now set up a system where you can run 1,000 queries per day and get the results emailed back to you. It also strips out results that you've already seen. You can find out more at http://www.googlert.com/. Be aware however that before you can use it you do need to register, but this only takes about 10 minutes and isn't a big deal
